Just a few photos

My son will be 3 on April 11th. It's hard for me to believe this. It seems like not long ago I was sitting in the local hospital fighting with the staff for their horrible antics after my ob/gyn sent me in to have an emergency c section b/c his fluid was entirely too low. It was Easter weekend, and of course, no one was staffed appropriately, and they had me wait  24 hours with out food or water b/c I was to have the c section on the 9th.

When I finally was seen the anesthesiologist asked where I had been and they had been waiting for me all day. To which I replied I'd been there ALL DAY. The nurse got an almighty rear end chewing from my sister and I, my doctor had since left and the on call doctor refused to do the surgery. They also refused me an ultrasound and sent me home with a urine jug. for a 24 hour collection. The morning of the 11th I returned and when they ran tests, they freaked out and in less than 10 minutes I was on an operating table.

Ethan's lower extremities were blue, he had some issues, but I was in love at first sights:

Now 3..wow, you have come such along way, son, and you are more loved each day!

Accident Follow Up

So I saw the chiropractor today. I had 6 X-Rays done. Turns out my headaches are because accident caused the vertebrae in my neck to become misaligned. I also have something going on with my lower back that has caused my pelvis to tilt (not sure I wasn't really understanding lol).

So I go 3 x a week for an activator adjustment. Hopefully that will help. I have heard only good things about this establishment, as three of my friends swear by the doctor.

I know I am in good hands. The office is beyond friendly and wonderful. It is so nice to see that still exists.

So, moral of the story? Skip the visit to the hospital, because they will do the bare minimum, the chiropractor is MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper and does xrays and works a plan to "fix you".

I am still waiting for hospital bills to come in. I contemplated hiring an attorney but I feel at this point I will just trust that the at fault driver's company will do the right thing. I really only care that my bills are paid, and I am compensated for my gas to and from my visits. Or if their is permanent damage - who knows.

My only qualm with an attorney is if it's not a fair settlement I am still in debt after paying the attorney fees. :/ They don't guarantee it will be enough to cover my bills. I say I give the insurance company a fair chance. (crossing my fingers) I hope I am not wrong here.
